Join us in supporting a wonderful cause and get a chance to win a Sanctuary Private Home Getaway. This year, Sanctuary is raising money for Sunshine Acres. Sunshine Acres is based in Mesa, Arizona and has a mission to provide a loving, wholesome home for children who are separated from their parents. The goal is to help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life. Sunshine Acres is more than just a home; it is a family.

In our effort to provide addition support to this wonderful organization, the resort is supporting “Grandpa Jim 12 Hours of Camelback” fundraising event starting at 7:30am on January 29. Donations are being accepted as individuals head up Camelback Mountain’s Echo Canyon Trail. Hikers can choose to do one trip up and down or try to complete as many laps up and down the mountain as they can in the 12-hour period. All the funds collected during this event will be used to take the Children of Sunshine Acres to the Grand Canyon for a life-changing trip.

In support of this event, we are donating a luxurious “Sanctuary Home Package” that includes a two-night stay in one of our private homes, rose petal turndown, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne and two 60-minutes spa treatments. We would love your assistance in raising funds for this great cause. All you need to do is purchase one of our raffle tickets and you will be entered into our special drawing with a chance to win this getaway. Ticket sales are limited to no more than 40, which means you will have a 1 in 40 chance of winning! Each ticket is $250. In 2014, we raised over $13,000 for Sunshine Acres. Let’s make this year even better.

Tickets will be sold up to 6pm on Thursday January 28, 2016 or until 40 tickets are sold. We will draw the winning raffle ticket at 6pm on January 29, 2016 at the base of Eco Canyon. You are welcome to join us, but you do not need to be present to win.
