Dolly Steamboat is located on Canyon Lake, about an hour away from Scottsdale.

5. Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
The Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area is located about an hour north of Scottsdale, and takes hikers and mountain bikers past the remains of early mining and ranching activities in the park as well as lush vegetation along Cave Creek. The area is particularly stunning in the spring when the wildflowers bloom.
