Dine, Dance, Stay: Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Elevates New Year's Eve with Three Distinct Celebrations and Spectacular Views
Scottsdale, AZ (December 16, 2013) – With the lights of Paradise Valley glittering below, New Year's Eve at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain promises an elevated evening with exceptional dining and entertainment. Locals and hotel guests can celebrate the New Year simply and elegantly with a four-course dinner at critically acclaimed elements, enjoy the same menu plus live entertainment from the acclaimed Angela Ferrari Band in Praying Monk, or dine and dance the night away at the newly redesigned jade bar. Revelers can extend the celebration with an overnight stay, and, for the most private of parties, a holiday a la carte menu will be available through in-room dining.
Executive Chef and Food Network star Beau McMillan has created an inspired, four-course menu full of palate-waking flavors for the evening. Patrons might begin with Manchego Farm baby quail with foie gras stuffing or Thai lobster bisque, followed with a salad of smoked Idaho trout and frisee or shaved root vegetable and crispy kale. Among the entrees are Zinfandel-braised short ribs with Hawaiian purple yams, cherry garlic glaze and winter cabbage and a Maple Leaf Farms duck breast with wild rice celery root cake, farmed spinach, and kumquat peppercorn glaze. Capping off the menu are decadent desserts ranging from a cappuccino verrine with espresso semifredo, chocolate ganache, coffee caviar, vanilla foam and hazelnut biscotti crumble to St. Germaine crème brulée tart with pickled strawberries, Chantilly cream, and rosemary shortbread.
