A "Private Sanctuary" for Meetings Meant to Impress: Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Offers Meeting Groups the Keys to an Exclusive Estate Home – On the House

Scottsdale, AZ. (June 18, 2009) – Giving new meaning to "on the house," the award-winning Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain has added an incentive for meeting groups that few resorts can match: complimentary access to an exclusive private mountain home for the group's use throughout the course of its event. The Private Sanctuary offer includes keys to one of several architecturally distinctive estate homes at the resort, which groups can choose to use for any number of purposes – to house a VIP, hold brainstorming sessions, enjoy cocktails by the fireplace or simply relax by the private pool. The Private Sanctuary incentive is available to groups who book 25 or more rooms by the end of 2009, for an event to be held at any future date.

Among the Mountainside Estates on offer is Casa Montana, a spectacular, 3,500-square-foot residence that boasts its own private boardroom. Newly renovated in a warm, colonial Spanish style, this spacious home also features four bedrooms, six full bathrooms, three wood-burning fireplaces, a sauna and whirlpool spa, and a billiards room with a private bar. Guests enjoy sweeping mountain views throughout the house from expansive windows, the scenic patio, and private pool deck.

Other estate homes available to groups meeting at Sanctuary are Gallery and Casa 2. Designed by renowned Valley architect George Christiansen, the newly remodeled Casa 2 is an eclectic masterpiece with classic and modern elements throughout. In addition to three bedrooms, it features its own tennis court, pool and dry sauna. The breezy Gallery is a contemporary hillside home with four generous bedrooms and baths, and a spectacular, open living-dining-kitchen space with stunning views of Camelback Mountain and Paradise Valley. Its private pool offers two decks for sunning and relaxation.

The boutique Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain caters exclusively to small groups of 200 or less, providing 9,000 square feet of inspired event space that blurs the line between indoors and out. Its intimate scale insures privacy for every group and keeps everything – from recreation to accommodations – close at hand. These include the award-winning Sanctuary Spa, fitness center, championship tennis courts, and Arizona's largest infinity-edge pool.

With the red rocks of Camelback and Mummy Mountains as Sanctuary's backdrop, the resort understands the importance of protecting our environment. In light of this, Sanctuary makes concerted efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. To preview Sanctuary's collection of Mountainside Estates, please call 1.800.245.2051.
